chromatography in not a feasible method to separate the bucket of mixed paint.
the advantage are it can separate very complex mixtures such as foods , drugs and flavorings . separated components can be collected individually.The analyses can be highly accurate and precise.
the disadvantages are it is sensitive. improper setup or contamination will give a different results
the different type of chromatography: gas chromatography,liquid chromatography,ion exchange chromatography,affinity chromatography....
