Chromatography is a feasible method to separate the bucket of mixed paint.
Advantages of Chromatography:
-can rapidly determine the number of constituents of a mixture sample
-This can also be used in secondary or primary colours in ink experiments
-often used to identify the presence or absence of chemical species in a sample.
-Drugs from narcotics to aspirin can be identified in urine and blood samples, often with the aid of chromatography.


Diasdvantages:
-Some mixtures are very difficult to separate by paper chromatography.
-is solely an analytical method
-can only be used in qualitative analysis
-Any species that is not coloured is difficult to observe on the chromatogram.
