Title : Chromatography Vineetha Devi (18)

Yes, Chromatography is a feasible method to seperate the bucket of mixed paint because it is a broad of range of physical methods used to seperate and analyze complex mixtures. Mixtures of various components enters a chromatography process of different components are flushed through the systems at different rates of migration as the mixtures moves over adsorptive materials provide seperation.

Advantages
Less expensive
Used in both analytical and preparative application
Quick to perform and easy to master
Disadvantages
Can't be applied in large quantities
Very sensitive and reliable method must be carried out carefully without any contamination
Types of Chromatography

Gas Chromatography -obtain the column's optimum seperation effiency

Liquid Chromatography- seperation technique in which the moblie phase is a liquid.

Paper Chromatography-Analyzing complex mixtures(such as inks)

Ion exchange Chromatography-Seperating proteins by use of chromatography on a cloun of an ion exchange resin.

Affinity Chromatography-method of seperating biochemical mixtures

Column Chromatography -used to purify individual chemical components from mixtures solution of compounds
